Papergirl SF is an annual mail-art and delivery systems art project that collects artwork from all over the world and, in the style of American paperboys, distributes the art freely by bicycle to people in the streets of San Francisco. Sound awesome? We think so, too.
Rickshaw and Arch to benefit Nabe!
As some of you may have noticed at the 2011 Papergirl gallery show, we had on display a collection of custom Rickshaw canvas musette bags, each with original artwork by a handful of local SF artists. These artists include: Rick Kitagawa, Eve Skylar, Dustin Boudreau, LC Rivera for DNK, Ben Walker, Love Storey, Gabby, Brian Perrin, and Marissa Rittismit. Unlike the rest of the pieces submitted to Papergirl SF, the Rickshaw musettes will be for sale, with proceeds to benefit the community. Read More for details...

Rickshaw Bagworks, one of our 2011 partners, came to us with the idea of designing some custom bags to be sold through another one of our partners, Arch Drafting Supply, with proceeds going to Nabe. We jumped at the chance and want to thank Rickshaw and Arch for their support of this project and giving us the opportunity to create original pieces to benefit the local community.
They are limited in number, so jump on em while you can! Use it as a purse, to carry your groceries, art supplies, bike gear, library books, etc. The possibilities go on and on!

We want to thank all the local artists that participated in this aspect of the 2011 Papergirl Project for their hard work and dedication. You rock and the bags look amazing! More images of the bags and Rickshaw can be seen on our Facebook page.
All the rest of the art we collected as part of the Papergirl SF 2011 project will be given away for free to the public by roadside bicycle delivery on Oct. 29th. All are welcome to join us for the distribution. More info about that coming soon! Stay tuned and happy cycling everyone!
